About Me

Hey, I'm Danny! I'm currently a Computer Engineering student at Florida Polytechnic University, and I'm also in the 4+1 program there for Electrical Engineering. At Florida Poly, I'm the VP of our Rotaract Chapter, and the VP of Professional Development for our SHPE chapter! I also play on our VALORANT team.

At work, I'm a Smart City Student Intern, where I am free to solve problems with general IT work, develop Software Engineering projects for the Municipality of Winter Haven, explore AI & DevSecOps tools, make games in Unreal Engine, and continue my learning within the world of computers.

On my own, I like to go to the gym, stream games on Twitch, watch shows with my friends, and work on personal projects. (Including this landing page and my Discord bot!)

I'm keeping my options open to all Computer Engineering, Software Engineering/Development, Embedded Engineering, Automotive, IT, and Quantum Computing opportunities. Looking forward to getting to know you & the team! :)

PS: Ask me about my Capstone Project and Discord bot!

Leadership Roles

Vice President

Rotaract International

Fellowship through service

August 2022 - Present

Social Services

In Rotaract, I participated in numerous volunteer and community projects. I've volunteered at a Veteran's Day breakfast, helped regulate traffic and pass out water at a local 5k race, and regulated traffic at the Winter Haven Christmas Parade each year. I've participated in Buddy Ball, where we go and help special needs children play a game of baseball! I also help out in our Adopt-a-Road program where we clean up Research Way by Florida Polytechnic University every two months. I am grateful to also participate in a mentorship program between the Florida Polytechnic University Rotaract Club and the Auburndale Rotary Club. Here I was paired with Alex Cam, the Vice President of Operations for Cams Catering and Mayor of Auburndale.

Esports

For our VALORANT team, I play the weekly matches against other schools like University of South Carolina, Florida Gulf Coast University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, AVL, and University of Florida. I've been pretty consistent in being Match MVP, leading my team to victory with my strat calling and pivoting, as well as my positioning, movement, and reaction-time during the round.

Workshops Given

Master Sword Your LinkedIn

Master Sword Your LinkedIn

Legend of Zelda

A Legend of Zelda inspired LinkedIn workshop! I did it in a Zero-to-Hero style, so I walked through the account making process, what each part of the account should have and what it looks like. I also showed how to make posts, and how to meaningfully connect with peers, professors, and recruiters!

Projects

Enterprise RAG Chatbot

Enterprise RAG Chatbot
